Which Floor Scrubber Is Right for You?
2026-07-24 16:07Selecting the right cleaning equipment directly impacts a facility's cleaning efficiency and operational costs. When choosing an industrial floor scrubber, you should consider three key factors: the size of the area, the type of cleaning brush, and the water tank capacity.
First, match the machine model to the facility's size and production scale.
For small processing enterprises with limited cleaning areas, an economical, single-brush walk-behind scrubber is sufficient for daily needs.
For medium-to-large factories spanning tens of thousands of square meters, a medium-to-large ride-on scrubber is recommended to provide flexible coverage across different zones.
For massive industrial parks and production bases, large ride-on scrubbers or combined sweep-and-scrub machines are the preferred choice; these significantly boost cleaning efficiency over large areas while reducing labor requirements.

Once the model type is selected, choose between disc brushes and cylindrical brushes based on your needs.
Disc brushes are suitable for the vast majority of flat, hard floor surfaces.
Cylindrical brushes can reach deep into floor textures and crevices to remove dirt; high-quality models often feature an independent debris hopper to collect scraps and fine particles simultaneously, making them ideal for use on square tiles, ceramic tiles, and rough concrete floors.
Scrubbing pads are better suited for softer surfaces, such as epoxy or PVC flooring, as they offer superior floor protection.
Water tank capacity is another factor that should not be overlooked.
Walk-behind scrubbers typically have tank capacities ranging from 15 to 55 liters.
Ride-on scrubbers generally feature capacities between 70 and 300 liters.
The variety of models available allows you to select the machine that best fits your specific operational requirements.
